It's the last thoughts before we go to bed that stay with us and influence our next day. Far better to put in the positive than the negative.

What a great idea. The before bedtime positive thinking sets a positive in your subconscious before going to bed. It sure beats thinking about your problems. Mark

Oops, I put the comment to this post on yesterdays post because I'm playing catch-up and I'm used to the comment area being at the end instead of the top. Sorry. I love the idea of a success log!

Someone told me to make a book (and I did it!) that contained evidence of success from each decade of my life (Artists Way, maybe?)...it had report cards, letters, job reviews, newspaper clippings, testimonials, etc.
The idea was that everytime you felt overwhelmed or were about to try something new, you should review your past successes to inspire you by remembering what you HAD done. IT WORKS!

Great post Yann. I am on the same page. Last week, I started writing down all the things that went well throughout my day and then how I would like the next to go. I really does keep your mind focused on what you do want rather than what you dont want which is normal thing for a mind to do when we are brought up to protect ourselves.

Yann - Your posts on building success are both timely and influential to my thinking. Great advice today - a success journal! I really like that idea. It would be great to get my kids in that habit too - beofe they hit those awkward teen years when self-esteem often takes a nose dive!

Great advice! Thanks!
